The door bumper, or in another way a bump, protects the door leaf from damage due to impacts.
The bumper significantly extends the service life of the door by preventing the appearance of compression marks and chips. This is due to the special curved shape of the bumper, which dampens impact loads. The bumper can be installed on any type of the door, regardless of its design and place of use.
There are two types of bumper:
- Made of polyethylene. Thickness: 6 mm. It can be used at temperatures from – 100 to + 120°C, is non-toxic, and can be used in food warehouses.
- Made of ABS plastic. Thickness: 5 mm. It is not resistant to special temperature conditions and UV, which limits its installation outdoors and in refrigerator chambers. Due to the special coating, scratches are almost invisible.
