One of the main elements of any door block is the door hinges. It is with their help that the door is tightly connected to the door frame.
Despite the simplicity of the mechanism, there are different types of door hinges:
- Classic (card) door hinges are two plates that are movably connected to each other by a steel rod. The first hinge is attached directly to the door leaf, and the second to the door frame.
- Double-sided hinges allow opening two doors in both directions: both inside and out. They are usually used in public places, as there is no need to install these hinges for interior doors.
● Butterfly hinges (surface-mounted without inset) make it possible not to cut special openings for hinges either in the door frame or in the door leaf itself.
