SDP / SDM / SDMS / SDPD door models

The quality of the guide rail along which the door leaf moves determines not only the convenience of using the door, but also the smoothness and ease of opening, the absence of noise and even the service life of the door. The design of the guide rail is selected directly from the door type:

    •     Pocket doors.

When installing pocket doors, two guide rails are used: the upper and the lower. The first one is the main one and is used to move the door. The second one is an auxiliary one that supports the doors when moving and keeps it in an upright position.

    •     Shifting doors.

Most often, only the upper guide rail is used, but there may be two rails: the upper and the lower.

    •     Extension doors.

It is necessary to use two guide rails: the upper and lower.

    •     Cascading doors.

They have a guide rail separately for each leaf.

    •     Bi-folding doors.

In another way, these doors are called “accordion”. They use only one suspended upper guide rail.

There are steel, aluminum and ZAС (an alloy of aluminum, zinc and copper) guide rails.
